4.0 out of 5 stars worked perfectly
I saw other bad reviews for this item and I'm not sure why. They weren't too tight for me and seemed to work perfectly. I ordered these because I am a Salsa dancer and after repeated spinning on my metatarsal, it became very sore and I even damaged the nerve in my right foot and lost some feeling in my big toe. I ordered these so my injury and foot pain wouldn't get...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not comfortable
I have a large women's foot - size 11 and these are way too small. They start to cut into my skin after a little bit of wear and become incredibly uncomfortable. Especially in the seperation between the big and second toe.

4.0 out of 5 stars worked perfectly, September 24, 2010

I saw other bad reviews for this item and I'm not sure why. They weren't too tight for me and seemed to work perfectly. I ordered these because I am a Salsa dancer and after repeated spinning on my metatarsal, it became very sore and I even damaged the nerve in my right foot and lost some feeling in my big toe. I ordered these so my injury and foot pain wouldn't get worse. It worked like a charm. I never stopped dancing and simply wore these in my shoes. They didn't take up too much room in my dance shoes and they didn't shift around too much. My pain eventually went away and I stopped wearing them because I didn't need them anymore (I bought shoes with lower heals and stopped doing so many darned spins!).

3.0 out of 5 stars Slips off when I'm barefoot, October 15, 2010

I had purchased this item because I thought it would be great for when I am doing yoga or walking in my house barefoot. I don't like wearing my shoes in the house. However, I find that when I use it this way I can barely get from one room to the next without it slipping off my foot. That aside, it does work well to ease my metatarsal pain when worn under my socks and in shoes.

These are GREAT. I have a neuroma between my metatarsal bones. This really relieves the pain. I wear these in my dressy shoes/boots- too thick for high heels though.I don't recommend them in your running shoes-feels weird. But I have worn them during weight training and they are fine. They really relieve my pain. I definatley recommend these.

This item was said to relieve mortons neuroma. It made it worse by squeezing the foot and placing more pressure on the nerve. Made it terrible!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but not great, August 9, 2011

I cannot say that I would recommend these, or buy them again for that matter. They seemed to feel good for about a week, and then the elastic started stretching, and the metatarsal pad seemed to wear thin. I will use them every now an then if I am in extreme pain, but am still looking for something better.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not for Me, May 1, 2011

Was very disappointed with this product. While walking around barefoot or with it under a sock it would just slide up the foot. It did not stay in place. Great idea just did not work for me. I think it is overpriced too for what your getting.

The sock doesn't pull onto your foot as far as the picture shows. You can not pull the sock on far enough to get the pad to the position it needs to be in. It's also a snug fit on a women's medium width foot.

I found the unit has a separate area for your big toe, but unfortunately my normal sized feet and toes found that stitch was too tight and cut off circulation to the big toe, and was irritating. So I snipped that fairly easily, but the only shoes I could use this with are extremely loose pair of mules and it did nothing for the pain.
Another point is, most people do not have bilateral neuroma's, so making these usable for that one foot instead of giving a right and left would make more sense... but only if you can stand them!

3.0 out of 5 stars Just OK for Support, April 8, 2011
This review is from: FootSmart Metatarsal Sleeve (Health and Beauty)
I just received this item a few days ago. I have only worn it once for about 3 hours. The support is Ok. The problem is the top keeps slipping off towards the toes. After walking with it, it eventually slides down covering your toes. I am having to keep pulling it up every few minutes. Ugh!!!
