The objective of the National Football Museum is to preserve, conserve and interpret the greatest collections of football memorabilia in the world. On opening its doors to the public in June 2001, the National Football Museum became the first and largest major football museum in the world. Located underneath two stands at Preston North End's Deepdale Stadium, the museum is situated in an area rich in footballing history.
