Patented in 1875, this wrench could possibly be the oldest wrench still in continuous production. Designed to tighten around a pipe or bolt as a load is applied. It continues to tighten as the pressure increases, yielding tremendous leverage to the user. Threaded set screw allow adjustments for different size materials.

I am torn on this one. It will grab hold of a pipe and do the job well. It is just that it seems like it was made in 1925 and repackaged to sell today. It seems like it is made out of cast iron. It was different than what I expected.
