About the Author

Joshua Eliot first visited Malaysia as a teenager. Since then he has taken a degree in Asian Studies at London's School of Oriental and African Studies, written children's books and academic papers, lectured on cruise liners, familiarised businessmen working in the country, advised military personnel, and given radio broadcasts. He travels regularly to Malaysia and Singapore to keep tabs on developments. Jane has been visiting Southeast Asia for over 10 years, and has worked on several guidebooks to the region.
