A fascinating look at the personalities that shape the culture of this ever-amazing state. Told with insight and power, real people step from the page to remind us that it is human character and imagination that create real history. A fine piece of journalism, told with affection and skill. Supplemented by superb photography, this is a hard-to-find treasure to add to your library of Americana.
