A Spiritual Life,
This review is from: Footprints on the Path (Paperback)
Eileen Caddy, co-founder of the Findhorn Foundation, an international spiritual community in northern Scotland, has received guidance from her 'God within' for over 35 years. Amidst the growing clutter of the 'new age' marketplace, it has become increasingly obvious that the simple and direct teaching that has come through her formsd a solid basis for living a sacred life.Eileen believes that the best way to help people is to turn them within to their own spiritual resources. The gentle but powerful messages in this book are offered as an aid to this contact with our divine source and can be used as a complete teaching in how to live a spiritual life. - from book's back cover.

I now have read this book 3 times and each time I find my spirits lifted up to the heavens. The writing is so simple yet elegant and the same message is presented in many different ways, but it never seems repetitious. I cannot remember being so completely satisfied with the purchase of any book in recent history. I can give an unqualified recommendation for this book to anyone. It contains so much uplifting wisdom presented so unpretentiously. It makes me a bit sad that I will never have the chance to meet this wonderful spiritual being, Eileen Caddy. But at least I have her words that I return to time and time again which are like cool refreshing water for my sometimes parched spirit. It is one of my literary treasures. For example, "How much simpler life becomes when you cease trying to become something you are not." page 89)I also found her 365 Daily Meditations very uplifting. In short, a book that should be on everyone's bookshelf and read over and over again.
