Format: Paperback
This twenty-plus year old collection of fourteen of Townes Van Zandt's songs contains a biography and photographs as well as music and lyrics. Particularly for the musician who has heard of Townes, but is not familiar with his work and is interested in learning some of his songs, this work is a good introduction. It contains music and lyrics to Poncho and Lefty, If I Needed You, To Live's To Fly and eleven other songs. With an introduction by John M. Lomax.

2 of 3 people found the following review helpful By Daniel R. Nunamaker on October 28, 2009
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
The 1977 Wings music book of Townes Van Zandt songs contained a "Post Card" inside. This postcard had the words to Pancho and Lefty on it. Without the Post Card this book is not complete and therefore not worth the asking price. Unless you don't care about getting the entire book. From time to time you will find them with the post card. Be patient.
