5.0 out of 5 stars Forbidden, sensual and sweet!
I've read every book in Lucy Monroe's Royal Bride series and they only get better and better and more interesting. In Forbidden: The Billionaire's Virgin Princess Sebastian Hawk and Lina Marwan are equally matched in sensuality, spirit and in their attraction for each other. 3.0 out of 5 stars ...
I was surprised at this. Monroe has done much better work. At first, I was interesting in their relationship very much. But as the end, it got a little dumb. First of all, you cannot break a woman's virginity with a finger. I would have thought a writer like Lucy Monroe would have, SHOULD have, known that. Second, when he asked her to marry him, it was way too quick a...

I've read every book in Lucy Monroe's Royal Bride series and they only get better and better and more interesting. In Forbidden: The Billionaire's Virgin Princess Sebastian Hawk and Lina Marwan are equally matched in sensuality, spirit and in their attraction for each other. In each chapter I couldn't wait to see if Lina was going to out-smart Hawk as he was hired to be her bodyguard to watch over her and to also watch over her security team her family had hired.

As a small child, Lina was sent away from her home to live in the US with her aunt and uncle. She's never felt a part of her family; she's felt neglected, unwanted with the exception of the care her US relatives have given her and from time to time, her brother who infrequently. She's been sheltered, watched over like a hawk and now she wants to spread her wings. However, the only way she can do that is to outsmart her security team and her new bodyguard Hawk has figured her out!
Hawk is one hot man! He's exceptional at his job, owns his own security company, is well respected in the industry and wants no part of a relationship. He's learned from the women in his life not to trust and to keep his relationships short and sweet. Now he's been hired by the Sheik to watch over his daughter who's attending college so he makes sure he literally bumps into her, sparks fly between them.....it's immediate attraction for both of them, Lina so innocent and Hawk so "experienced" and it's a battle of wills, lust and a love story you're not going to want to miss!

Throughout the entire book I was rooting for them and you will as well because their attraction is so immediate and powerful. Hawk is torn every step of the way; he fights his attraction for Lina and in the end it's an emotional breakup and farewell. What was incredible to read was Lina's journey in self discovery, how she grew emotionally and outsmarted them all! This author has a gift for drawing her readers into the story and this book is no exception. In the end, let's just say, their reunion years later is emotional and tender as only Lucy Monroe can portray and this book is a love story at it's best! Cheers to Lucy and her Royal Brides!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lucy Monroe pens another wonderful story, July 1, 2008

This review is from: Forbidden: The Billionaire's Virgin Princess (Harlequin Presents) (Mass Market Paperback)
The Billionaire's Virgin Princess by Lucy Monroe is another heartwarming and sensual tale.

Lina Marwan came to America to explore the college world and to escape the strict world of being a princess. She thought she had fooled her security detail with her little strolls of freedom. But she didn't know that her new friend Sebastian Hawk was an added security measure.

Sebastian Hawk thought he was guarding a spoiled willful princess. He was prepared for the thoughtful caring woman he met. Furthermore it was becoming more difficult to his hands off of her. But when Lina finds out the truth their budding relationship ends.

Eight years later Hawk is sent to find Lina and bring her home to marry a neighboring sheik. But Lina has some surprises up her sleeve that will set Hawk back on his heels.

The Billionaire's Virgin Princess is another jewel in the writing career of Lucy Monroe. Lina and Hawk are exceptional. They play off each other so well, you feel like you are watching two friends fall in love. Lucy Monroe is always my first choice in romance.

First of all, you cannot break a woman's virginity with a finger. I would have thought a writer like Lucy Monroe would have, SHOULD have, known that. Second, when he asked her to marry him, it was way too quick a scene. I couldn't believe the ending. It went by so fast, as if Monroe had to finish it in twenty seconds.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wrong Book, July 18, 2008
This review is from: Forbidden: The Billionaire's Virgin Princess (Harlequin Presents) (Mass Market Paperback)
I think I must have been reading a different book from the readers who gave this title 5 stars. It was AWFUL! The premise was idiotic, the writing wooden and the characters cardboard cutouts. I have read much better work by this author. By the way, having gone through the naturilization process myself I can tell you that this author knows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it! If she did it would have changed the whole story. How, then, can one take it seriously?

5.0 out of 5 stars Forbidden, July 1, 2008
This review is from: Forbidden: The Billionaire's Virgin Princess (Harlequin Presents) (Mass Market Paperback)
Sebastian Hawk is Princess Lina Marwan's newest bodyguard. Lina doesn't know that though. Sebastian is posing as another student at the university Lina attends. After spending some time together, Lina starts to fall for Sebastian but when his job is done, Sebastian moves on without a backwards glance. Lina is heartbroken. Sebastian has regrets. Eight years later Sebastian and Lina meet again when Lina's father once again hires Sebastian, this time to find his missing daughter. When Sebastian finds her, he is surprised that the attraction he felt for her is still as strong as ever. Not much has changed between them though. Lina is still rebellious and Sebastian is still wary of relationships. But has Lina become a temptation too strong for Sebastian to deny?

Forbidden: The Billionaire's Virgin Princess is a story rich in romance and sensuality. I adore Lina. She is very alluring. Her innocence is endearing and she is intelligent and strong willed. Sebastian's intensity and restrained desire for Lina are tangible. When his passion is finally unleashed, it's nearly overwhelming in its intensity. Lina's desire for Sebastian, and only Sebastian, is very sweet and very sexy. The undeniable attraction, forbidden love, and searing passion in Forbidden: The Billionaire's Virgin Princess make it a perfect romance novel!
