More About the Author

I started writing when I was eleven. My best friend and I were sitting in my bedroom over Christmas break and decided to spend our time listening to music and writing stories. What we thought would be nothing more than a creative way to pass time quickly turned into a deep love for me.

Since that cold and snowy afternoon in New Jersey, I embraced my imagination and let those people and places come out on paper.

I've always loved paranormal-anything and everything-and incorporate paranormal elements into all of my writing. It may be nothing more than a dash of the unnatural, or an entire story revolving around a magical world with new creatures, new beings and new mysteries revolving around them. There's something to say about breathing life into a race that never before existed, and watching them grow to become a part of our lives.

To this day, I still love the snow and those few special songs that launched me into a whole new world. Dreams are reality, and the sky's the limit!

From the moment I open the book and started to read I was taken. I could hardly put it down and once I finished it I just wanted to continue reading more about the characters. This is a very enjoyable book and easy read.

I guess I'm too picky, but this book was frustrating to read. I decided to go ahead with this review because I would like to have read one like this before I purchased the book. The lack of good copy editing and/or proofreading caused me to struggle to finish reading it. Afterwards, I discovered that the author used an online publishing service, and maybe that is the problem. It's not unusual to find a word or two misspelled or misused, but there were more than a few with this one. I found myself wanting to end my misery after almost every other chapter because of the editing/proofing mistakes, and I'm not one to just give up on a book. The story was good, and for the most part, the characters were interesting, but I doubt I'll be continuing this series.
