Couldn't hear a thing,
This review is from: Forbidden Knowledge Conference UK 2006 (FKCUK) (Amazon Instant Video)
The sound was so bad you couldn't understand a single word said in any of the lecture sections, the they made it worse still by dubbing music over the top of it, so what you might have been able to actually hear, you couldn't anymore. What a total waste of time, save your money, watch a different version on youtube.

This was good, but understandably a bit dated,

Most important thing - this is a film you watch for knowlege, not entertainment.
If you are NEW to alternative history or hidden archeology, or perhaps you are a new listener to Coast to Coast or have just started being interested in an alternative view of the world's history as we were taught it, this conference will catch you up well and give you a good primer on some of the biggest theories tossed around in the genre. If you are a regular consumer of alternative media, like Coast to Coast AM, or if you stay up with the likes of Graham Hancocks' work, you will find this material just another rehash and you may want to avoid it. I am, and I found it repetitive as most of these conference speakers have been on the show in 2007 or 2008 and are even replayed now. I need a 3.5 rating for this. The quality of the recording could be better. It is interesting for new comers though, and has a lot of good well condensed information. It is a lot easier to read this than to get through some of the LONG books these guys have written. I feel bad giving it a 4, because it is dated material now, but that is not really that fair to the conference itself, because at the time of release it was NOT dated, and I want to encourage films like these. |
