Forbidden Delights,
By Amaranth "music fan" (Northern California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Forbidden Love (MP3 Download)
Madonna's "Forbidden Love" pulses with passion. It's fit for the dancefloor, yet it is bittersweet and poignant. It begins with "there once was a boy and there was a girl." Madonna distills forbidden love stories to their essence; she might be singing of Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde, Pyramus and Thisbe, Hero and Leander. "We were meant to be together" is her powerful refrain. It's the love that defies convention. It's difficult not to identify. Madonna sings passionately. "Forbidden Love" touches the heart, and throbs for the dancefloor.
