I purchased this book in order to get some solid facts about the Watchers and the Nephilim. Instead, I got the opinion of a paranoid woman who twisted the facts to fit her narrow view of these fallen angels and their children. I find it hard to believe that angels who fell through simple lust are beings of ultimate evil bent on nothing more than the destruction of everything in God's creation. The frightening thing is that her 'evidence' is so convincing that had I not already known better, I would have believed every word, down to the assertions that even Hitler was one of the Watchers.

Save your money and buy a better book! Get a translation of Enoch that's NOT twisted to someone's narrow-minded views, and draw your own conclusions about the Watchers and their children.

Can't pick *zero* stars? A pity.

Sheer paranoia about the 'origins of evil'. Sure, the 'full text' of the Book of Enoch is included, but it was conveniently translated to fit the author's beliefs, which are shoved down the reader's throat. The 'evidence' is rather convincing -- only if this is the first time you've encountered the Book of Enoch. If you're looking for an objective study of the book, this is NOT where you're going to find it.

This is a very unscholarly work of dogma, not a study of the Book of Enoch. The "conclusions" are drawn from thin air and religious fanaticism, including such tripe as blaming the current "drug problem" on the children of the fallen angels currently walking the earth, etc etc. If you are a scholar looking for substantial works, read one of the many detailed (and footnoted) apocryphal texts available. This book is for those looking for "facts" to fill in what they already believe.

The Introduction by Elizabeth Clare Prophet is the most interesting part. At the time of the Apostles, basing themselves on Enoch, sin was believed to have from fallen angels. Only later would Augustine blame everything on Adam, and imply sin had a sexual origin.

This is a great book for those just getting into the Book of Enoch.....for orthodox christians and New-Agers alike.
