I dont know what the other reviewers where talking about,this force pack doesnt require batteries. Its also a total peice of junk. The feedback is very weak, the light is annoying. Upon opening the device, I discovered that the feedback is being achived using one very simple motor/weight system, which explains the weak and jerky feedback. However, its possible to disconnect the stupid light, so I guess thats a plus. Don't waste your money on this product. I purcased it on clearance for $1.98 and I paid too much. Totally worthless. I can't recommend ANY product made by Mad Catz...do yourself a favor, and dont waste your money or time with 3rd party accessories
