The only thing I wish this book would have, that it DOESN'T, is color photos. Everything else, the info, numbers, photos, and the fact that it is VERY up to date, to include 05+ Mustangs, is SPOT ON. Couldn't be better.
I would definately reccommend this to ANYBODY wanting to learn how to build higher performance OHV 5.0, and Modular 4.6 and 5.4 Ford Small Block V8s.

This book offers the reader real hands-on information that works
for the Ford Windsor and modular engine families. The reader can get a fairly good idea of what it takes boost performance, and a ball-park idea of costs and suppliers.

If you're looking for a manual that gives you build specifications, torque limits, fits and clearances...this is not the book you want. It gives you a very high level overview of the different Ford engines and talks in general how a couple custom engine builders assemble engines. Worth about 50-cents.
