its a great book if your keen to do your own restoration or revival of a mk1/mk2 escort/cortina. it is a valuable resource. its really opened my eyes into rust repairs and discovered its not really that hard. my 1972 mk1 escort has come a long way since the purchase. enjoy

At the moment I am restoring a 1977 Mk2 escort, that is why I bought this book. It has some excellent background material on the Escorts and Cortinas, along with lots of technical specs and information. Most importantly for me however was the very descriptive way in which it worked through even the smallest repairs. Covers everything form engines to bodywork to interior trim. The only problem I would have is that it is a little dated and some photos are not great quality. Overall though, a really good buy.
