2K Games has partnered with the Ford company to produce the Ford Racing series, the latest installment of which is Ford Racing 3 for the Game Boy Advance. The game includes over 50 different vehicles ranging from classic Model T to modern cars to futuristic concept vehicles and 26 different courses. Each vehicle handles differently depending on its size, weight, and speed, although they aren't limited by history: the Model T, for example, can easily keep up with cars produced in the last few years. Plus, there are speed boosts on the tracks to allow even the biggest, slowest car to hit 75 mph or more.

The tracks range from high-mountain peaks to dusty back roads to highways, and each can be raced forwards or backwards. Cars drive differently on the different terrain, of course, and some areas feature realistic environment effects like dust clouds or snow flying up behind cars. These tracks are the heart of the single-player Ford competition mode, which puts racers in 1 of 14 tournaments to claim the top spot. Ford Challenge is the other main single-player mode, requiring players to complete certain conditions such as avoiding crashes or overtaking another car. With so many racing games on the market, it's often hard for fans to select which game to buy, but for gamers who appreciate the power and speed of a Ford, there's only one choice: Ford Racing 3.

This game is a great game to play and own. It has almost everything; it has 4 districts with 6 tracks each, 20 cars to race in (you start with 2 and unlock more as you gain progress.) BUT, it lacks one thing...

It does not have an autosave feature! It dosen't even have a manual save feature! I once got all the progress. I left my Gameboy on charge all night, and the next day, I won. The next time I turned off my Gameboy, it was all lost for the next time I played. Other than that, the game is awesome, and you would probably love it.
