Book Description

Mitzy Neuhaus is the top selling Realtor in Portland, but even her office is dead in this economy. Foreclosed is the word no homeowner wants to hear and Mitzy is determined to save the incredible mansion on her street from that fate. But with the homeowner desperate to keep Mitzy away from his property and Alonzo, the dangerously hot rival investor trying to snatch it out from under her, Mitzy knows she has to work fast, or the economy won't be the only thing dead...

*Christian Cozy Mystery*

Editorial Reviews

Review

This one is filled with mystery, suspense, humor and a little bit of romance. Real Estate Mogul Mitzy Neuhaus is desperately seeking a way to help the local economy pick up from its current slump. A house she's been watching for quite some time finally comes up for sale and Mitzy begins snooping into its past. Soon she finds herself in trouble of a sinister kind.

I was hooked to this one from the beginning. I couldn't put it down and finished it in one day. If you love good clean fiction with mystery action and adventure all rolled into one then this book does the trick.
--Goodreads Review

Mitzy is a real estate agent with a problem. No one is buying and she needs to keep her staff busy. A nearby house is foreclosed on which draws her interest. That's when the problems start. There is more to the former owners than meets the eye and Mitzy is drawn into danger.

The book is a fun and fast read and unique. I read it in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Note: There were two paragraphs where the author revealed her characters Christian beliefs. It's part of the story, but not intrusive. There were very few, if any, editing errors in the copy I picked up (and I'm one to notice that sort of thing).--Amazon Review

5.0 out of 5 stars Foreclosed was a fun read! November 4, 2010
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book was recommended by several friends so I checked it out and am glad I did so. The plot revolves around Mitzy Neuhaus, Portland's best known realtor, discovering that a Victorian dream house is going into foreclosure. Mitzy knows she is the best realtor to bring the right clientele to this house. She also realizes that a sale like this will really help make a name for herself in the upper crust of Portland society. The mystery revolves around who owns the house and the disappearance of valuable items within the house. Of course, Mitzy being industrious as she is, takes matters into her own hands to hunt down this individual and information. It was a great mystery with interesting characters that I thoroughly enjoyed! I loved all the details that went into describing places and characters so I felt invested in the story. I read the story quickly and had a hard time putting it down at night.

5.0 out of 5 stars Foreclosed--- a clean Mystery March 24, 2010
Format:Paperback
This is an exciting book. If you are looking for a Clean mystery... This is it. I enjoyed it so much. There are a lot of mysteries out there that contain lots of bad words and such. I was thrilled about this book. I was so enthralled by Mitzy that I was very concerned about what happened to her. Mitzy is a Real Estate Agent who finds an old Victorian house that is being foreclosed by the bank. She wants to find the people who are destroying this houses' worth... A very great adventure.

4.0 out of 5 stars As a Christian, I liked this Christian mystery.
I am a Christian, but I also spent my life in publishing and have written eighteen books myself, so I don't like Christian books that are not written well. This one I liked. Read more

This really isn't much of a mystery, more like a mindless read. Kind of slow in the beginning and goofy all the way thru. Read more

Found the characters realistic. Mystery had a plot. Pleasant and different story line. Would recommend for a quiet mystery story.

3.0 out of 5 stars Slow start but gets better
I think the author spent a little too much time introducing the characters and their quirks and problems. The story line was slow to evolve but it was an interesting read.
