4.0 out of 5 stars "what a lemon" is a minor hard rock classic, November 9, 2011

This review is from: A Foreign Affair II (Audio CD)
2 cd set by the danish rock band gasolin'. the first cd (consisting of the band's first album in english) called "what a lemon" is a minor, hard rock classic. hard, crunching, catchy rock&roll circa 1975. think mott the hoople, alice cooper. play it real LOUD. the second cd, consisting of the album "the last jim" (the band's second in english) is unlistenable. they hit one album out of the park, struck out on the other. but its amazing how great 4 guys from dutchland can sing and write in english. on the first album anyway. 5 stars for "what a lemon". but don't over pay for this. it's a minor, enjoyable, out of left field classic (denmark?). i paid about 25 bucks for it. that's my limit. my copy is a 2002 remastered sony (denmark) release with cd booklet notes in danish.
