5.0 out of 5 stars Quality erotica that's sleek, stylish & sexy
You don't often see the words "Quality" and "Erotica" in the same sentence, let alone paired together, but this tasty collection of erotic travel stories can't be beat when it comes to quality and the erotic. And yes, I've read them all, including the so-called "Best" anthologies, which always leave me wondering just who elected these editors as arbiters of what...

3.0 out of 5 stars Rather self-conscious
Either the editor has a very heavy hand or all these writers went to the same writing school. There are several good stories here but the writing felt pasteurized somehow... I wouldn't say this is a bad book, but it seems to be trying very hard to be "literary." One of the most disappointing stories was from Linda Jaivin, whose "Eat Me" book is a bit of a classic in this...

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality erotica that's sleek, stylish & sexy, November 14, 2004
This review is from: Foreign Affairs: Erotic Travel Tales (Paperback)
You don't often see the words "Quality" and "Erotica" in the same sentence, let alone paired together, but this tasty collection of erotic travel stories can't be beat when it comes to quality and the erotic. And yes, I've read them all, including the so-called "Best" anthologies, which always leave me wondering just who elected these editors as arbiters of what constitutes "Best".
In "Foreign Affairs," editor Mitzi Szereto has cracked the genre wide open by offering readers material that actually has some substance and intelligence to it. And yes, Dorothy, it CAN be done. Of particular note are the stories from Jai Clare, Linda Jaivin, Donna George Storey, Carole Rosenthal and Szereto herself.
When it comes to erotic writing, it just doesn't get any better than this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good stuff!, December 27, 2004
This review is from: Foreign Affairs: Erotic Travel Tales (Paperback)
Really enjoyed this latest installation of Mitzi Szereto's brilliant Erotic Travel Tales series. The writing is fresh, fiery and sexy. She does exactly what she promises in her introduction -- and a whole lot more. Szereto takes us on journeys we will never forget. This is one not to be missed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Filet mignon erotica, September 19, 2004

This review is from: Foreign Affairs: Erotic Travel Tales (Paperback)
From start to finish, this tasty collection of erotic stories doesn't fail to thrill and delight. Szereto has once again proven herself the master (mistress?) of anthology editors, bringing readers the finest erotic writing out there today. From bestselling author Linda Jaivin's entertaining and sexy "Peking Duck" to the editor's own sensuous and exotic "Odalisque," there is a wealth of fine erotica here for even the most jaded of taste buds. It just doesn't get any better than this!

4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Read, especially if you're a Gwen Masters Fan, September 8, 2004
This review is from: Foreign Affairs: Erotic Travel Tales (Paperback)
This book was truly interesting if you like Erotica. I bought it because I'm a great Gwen Masters fan and her story "Biloxi" was, as always, a fantastic read. You can never go wrong with one of her stories and by reading this book, you'll be impressed with the other writers who contributed stories to this book.
