4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable read, June 29, 2000
This review is from: Foreign Affairs (Paperback)
Another easy to read book from Patricia Scanlan. Like City Girl it follows the lives of a group of girls living (well for the most part) in Dublin. Except in this book we follow them from when they are born into their 20s/30s. Each girl experiences different hardships and joys and they are not always able to help each other. A holiday in Spain brings everything out in the open. Perhaps it's not of any literary merit, but a good read nonetheless.
