This thing is a p.o.s.!!! It is glued together and will fall apart even if you only hand tightening it. Do not waste your time or money on this.

I purchased this item on January 1st thinking that is was like the picture posted, with three seperate pieces. When I opened the box I found one single piece with the "removable" parts glued onto the handguard. The hole for the gas tube is so misaligned that when it would be time to install the gas tube, it would make it bend automatically. No instructions were included in the box and the handguard was shipped without any type of protective shipping material. Would NOT buy from this company again!

The three holes (1 gas tube, 2 dowel pins) were not aligned AT ALL with the center lines of the rails. Someone failed machining 101 right there. Also, some other moron (forgetting the fool who didn't check his/her handiwork in production) didn't even give the tube a cursory glance before packaging. This is a great lesson in how NOT to produce a product! Mark W.

I was on a budget when building my AR and I learned the hard way when building a one that cheap is not the way to go. It was sent manufactured backwards, I had to modify it in order to fit my AR but it still is questionable. It comes loose after 50 or so rounds and has to be tightened. After some thought I think this was meant for airsoft and not the real deal.
