Dr. Scott Fairgrieve, the author of this book, is an exemplaryfigure in the field of forensic anthropology, and this book shows it.The book details case studies from the beginning of each case to the end of each case. Because it describes each case with such detail it makes it an excellent book for all forensic students to own. However, Dr. Fairgrieve tries very hard to...

This review is from: Forensic Osteological Analysis: A Book of Case Studies (Hardcover)
Fairgrieve tries very hard to use lay words and explain ideas and theories so that someone not in the field would also find the book easy to follow. The case studies are up-to-date--using all of the newest techniques in the field of forensic anthropology. Also, each case study has its own unique quality and problems so there is definitely no boredom on the part of the reader. A must read for any serious forensic anthropology student, and a good read for all others.
