This review is from: Forest Explorer: A Life-sized Field Guide (Hardcover)
This slightly oversized field guide may prove a shelving challenge but its bright color and encouragement to kids to explore their world can't be overlooked The chapters comprising Forest Explorer are simply packed with field notes help young naturalists identify common insects, birds, and mammals to be located in the usual backyard world. What sets this apart from others is its focus on very bright full-page photos packed with supplemental detail. Very highly recommended.

These books are simply amazing. The pictures in them are wonderful. I even enjoy looking at the books. Each page has a scene and on the next page you can find all of the bugs, animals etc. with a their name and a description of them. It's wonderful. It's things your child would find out doors. It's brillant well worth the money. My kids love the books!
