Thy Serpent started as Sami Tenetz’s one-man project back in 1993. During these first years Sami made two demos, "Frozen Memory" in 1994 and "Into Everlasting Fire" in 1995. With the help of the second demo, Thy Serpent was signed to the Finnish record company Spinefarm Records.

"Forests Of Witchery" is without a doubt, one of the best metal albums released in the Finnish scene. It offers a lot of different kind of atmospheres and moods, keeping it metal from the very first second to the last one. A must buy if you are searcing for a quality dark/black metal release with a high quality.

this is one of the best black/dark metal albums. it has only 6 songs but they all are good or great. if you like synth black buy it.
