Not Baby-Preschool, October 26, 2003
This review is from: Forestwife Trilogy: Vol 1-3 (Paperback)
This book is for intermediate or young adult readers who are very interested in a strong heroine who is quick thinking and compassionate. Also for readers who enjoy the legend of Robin Hood, as long as they are willing to look at it from a new perspective. Theresa Tomlinson's "The Forestwife Trilogy" puts "Maid Marian" in the spotlight in this must-read companion to Robin Hood's tale.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Forestwife Trilogy: Vol 1-3 (Paperback)
This is a MUST READ by one of best historical writers I know.
The story tells of young Mary De Holt, a firy teen in a desperate need to get out.
We follow our new friend, and her faithfull old nurse Agnes into the depths of Sherwood forest, were they find a clearing, The Forestwifes clearing.
This gripping tale of desperation, love, death, fear of discovery and all round greatness, is certain to be a big hit with any Theresa Tomlinson and Robin Hoods fans alike!

As good as chocolate!!, September 7, 2010
I cannot believe that there are only 2 reviews on this page for this excellent story.
I enjoyed reading Robin Hood from a different perspective. I could not stop until I finished the last word. I have never really liked Robin Hood, but now that I got to know him through the eyes of another, a woman - I adore him.
I never knew what was going to happen next.
I honestly loved it and like that last block of chocolate, I wanted to make it last.
