Same old stuff her guys no new songs.
This is a Collecotr's Tin set with three CD's featuring all their hits and some choice album tracks along with a few songs that rarely make it to any compilations. Great for the newly entheused Blondie fan wanting to hear more than just the Best Of or for any collector of Box Sets.

So far, my only disappointment is that the version of "Sunday Girl" is not the bilingual (French/English) version, which I thought was included when I searched for this version of the song. After more careful review on Wikipedia I found the bilingual version appears on two other albums. Blondie Forever, which includes many songs I never heard before, is very listenable due to the vocal strength of its lead singer and the band's musical talent.
I would recommend "Blondie Live" if you are a "pure" rock enthusiast as opposed to a follower of punk rock or new wave. The album is extremely entertaining and it's so unfortunate that it does not include "Bang a Gong (Get It On)" along with the bilingual version of Sunday Girl. They perform a good concert! |
