This review is from: Forever Chained (Stranger in Venice) (Kindle Edition)
This book was fantastic. This is the first of Beaufort's novels I have read and once I started I couldn't put it down. She has a way of writing that absolutely captivates the reader. Her story flows very well and you become one with the characters. The description is flawless. The story starts with a yound woman in the 1800's who is lustfull and intrigued by the sinful ideas of her sexual side. She begins by playing sexual games with her best friend Emma meanwhile bethrothed to a man who her family approves of. But she begins to have visions of her dark lover. She eventually takes a holiday with with Emma and both there betrothes and chaparones to Vinice where they are introduced to the darker side of passion (Bondage, Discipline and Submission). But while in Vincice she end up meeting the dark lover of her dreams, a vampire and his sisters whom he has created. She struggles with the idea of loving such a creature. The story ends very well but I don't want to spoil it for the reader. I definately recommend this book!
