I'm really enjoying reading Tiffany King as a Contemporary Romance author. There is an ease and comfort to her writing. Forever Changed was no different. I quickly became enraptured with the story.

The story begins with Kass at her father's funeral. My heart truly was breaking for her. This poor girl was left to take care of her family, since her mother was grieving so terribly. I felt so bad for Kass. She never really had a chance to grieve on her own. Then, her friends basically bailed on her. I just wanted to wrap her up in a hug. I think that her counselor really helped her once she admitted she was having trouble coping. Then, there was Maddon. I love Maddon. Unfortunately, it takes a tragedy to bring them together, but the love they have for each other is really endearing. Despite the controversy is causes, they can't seem to stay away from each other.

I have to mention the supporting characters. I loved Drake and Carrie, aka Slim Jim. I'd really like to see a story develop for them. I think they'd make a great couple. *hint hint*. I would also like to mention that I loved the music aspect of the story and would have loved to see more about that part of their lives.

Here's the thing, I loved the characters so much, that I wasn't ready for the story to end. The only thing keeping me from rating it a 5 was that, the development of the story was steady, but I did feel that the ending was wrapped up a little quickly. Again, I think I felt that way because, I wasn't ready for the story to end.

This book is a bittersweet love story. There is major tragedy, but what comes out of that tragedy is love. I felt like this was a beautiful read that YA and Adults could identify with and truly enjoy.

The story is good, but predictable-which is fine. I just feel it could have been great with a little more depth and emotion. It is difficult to explain, but there was not the same level of feeling from characters as you get in other books by authors such as Abbi Glines. I like a little more build-up before big plot events, but things happen very quickly in this book and then are over.
There were also quite a few typos which were distracting at times.
Overall I enjoyed the book, but it left me wanting a little more from that characters.

I own every single book by Tiffany, and as much as I love all of them, Forever Changed is so far one of her best! I have been looking forward to the release of this book for a while now, and I was so excited to see it finally released while I was floating around on my Facebook page. Let me tell you, it was most definitely worth the wait! I laughed and cried and totally cheered for Kassandra when she stood up for herself. I fell in love with Maddon myself, because let's face it, guitarists rock, but drummers are freaking delicious! And Kassandra's sister, Megan, just broke my heart to pieces!

Aside from all of that though, this book reaches out to anyone who's ever experienced a loss or some sort of shock. It helps you to realize that even if you think or feel that the tragedy may in some way be your fault, it isn't. It could never be. Things happen and people will blame themselves, but until you let go of that blame, you can't properly grieve. It also shows us that in some ways, grief is selfish and that something can and must happen for that person to snap out of it and come back around to what's important. But most importantly, this book teaches us that people grieve in a variety of ways, and that some can move past that grief a lot more quickly than others. It shows us that children, especially small ones, are more deeply affected by trauma than some could even imagine, and sometimes it takes something almost as equally tragic or shocking to pull that child back into your world. It tells us that even if we think we know someone, we will never truly know them as long as we continue to jump to conclusions instead of seeking out the truth from that person directly. But above all, it shows you that no matter what love can and will always prevail, even in the darkest of hours. And not only that, but when it's right, it is definitely right.

So go ahead and please, grab this book. It's is beautiful, inspiring, and brilliantly written. Thank you Tiffany, for giving all of us the opportunity to enjoy the worlds that you create! Great job, and I cannot wait for more!
