More About the Author

Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.

You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.

I have a soft spot for Hagen's series Brac Pack because of her quirky, loving characters. Christian's Coven has had a bit of a darker flavour but still has the humour. However, this book is laugh out loud funny. The mix of humour and fated love is just perfect.
Kory is a wolf in a human family. He knows nothing of shifter life, in fact he thinks he may be the only one in the world. He comes through the scary woods and comes across a dead man - who promptly bites him and drinks from him. Huh, so not dead just a vampire. The vampire turns out to be a walking, talking dead man - Dante is alive, not killed in the massacre of his coven. He has discovered his mate - in suburbia. Kory is 20 and lives at home with his brothers and mother. None of them know he is an omega wolf and he isn't telling! However, dragging home a half dead vampire is not the smartest thing he has ever done - and he wishes Dante would stop using him as an energy drink! He is about to pass out. Dante meets the family, including Jonah who makes him play with his dolls - Dante doesn't do that does he? Kory has a funny sense of humour which makes his learning of vampires and other shifters humourous rather than fearful. And then there is the Neighbourhood Watch team - they are funny as hell! They meet Dante while he is out looking for a feed and finds a bunch of men who are lonely, isolated and desperate for friends. He becomes an ad hoc member of the neighbourhood watch because they want him to be their cool friend. They haven't found a corner that doesn't have mystery or big time crime around - it's just no one else ever sees it because it isn't illegal to have coffins in your basement nor does it mean there is a serial killer living in the neighbourhood. But there is something creepy about those woods!

I've been keeping an eye on this book's release, continuing the Christian's Coven series. This one focuses on two unlikely m/m lovers, Kory and Dante. Kory is new to this world, he is a young omega wolf that is completely ignorant of shifters or their culture. Dante is a 900+ year old vampire that ran his own coven for 300 years. So yes this is the story of a young inexperienced Kory and an 'older man' -- It was wonderful seeing Dante find his mate, especially after losing his coven. We see a different side of Dante and I hope we hear more about these two as the series continues.

The humor in this story was a nice change. In this case it's the neighborhood watch, consisting of 4 men, that don't really have enough to do along with a super hero complex. Oddly enough their suspicions proved correct, there were odd things going on, just not what they expected.

This is a light m/m romance read, something along the lines of light chick flick fluff -- If you enjoy wolves, vampires, and as always, a HEA. Characters from past books, especially those interacting with Dante, briefly stop in. For those that keep up with the six series, you will enjoy this continuing book. And while there was humor in a few books, this one is really light hearted and not due to the main characters.

Was Kory's little brother completely cured? I know he'd have to be to be mated to Cole, Luke's son. . . But I don't think it was a definite yes, he's cured. I'm sure time will tell. -- Dan's Wife

I very much enjoyed this story of a once powerful and wealthy vampire leader who is cast into suburbia and forced to learn to live among humans and even join the rather comical neighborhood watch if he wants to keep his new-found mate. Young Kory thought he was the only person in the world who could transform into a white wolf. Certainly his bizarre ability was unheard of among his family and neighbors so he's kept his secret all his life. Then, walking through some rather frightening woods behind his house he finds what appears to be a dead body. The body is Dante, a coven leader among vampires whose coven has been destroyed. The plot of this book is quite original and really very funny in parts. Kory's four year-old little brother Jonah raises adorableness to the level of a super-power as he runs around in a little set of costume fairy wings. All the characters in this book were really likeable. I loved the whole thing and will re-read it often!

Forever Yours by Lynn Hagen is the eighth story in her Christian’s Coven series and definitely needs to be read in chronological order.
After the angst in Ceri, Dante and Kory gave us a much needed rest. Even Dante’s fears felt lighter in comparison. I thoroughly enjoyed the naiveté and innocence of Kory. I could see that after what Dante had experienced Kory would provide something necessary to him. I loved the humor that Ms. Hagen also gave us. I mean the neighborhood watch men were hysterical even if why they did it felt sad. I loved their antics and knew that had a hand in helping Dante forgive himself. In this story, Ms. Hagen did a wonderful job of balancing competing needs all while giving Kory and Dante time to learn each other. I enjoyed the light heartedness of the story even while it dealt with pain. Kory’s family was a wonderfully fitting back drop in his growing relationship. I loved their easy acceptance. It felt natural and real.
I appreciated the lightheartedness Ms. Hagen gave us as the battle between good and evil began to heat up. I loved that she balanced the horror with the hope. I thought she gave us a well needed look at innocence coupled with strength and I am looking forward to what happens next.

Four Twinkling Stars!!
