A nice quick read, with a timeline of a couple of days, and a new variety of vampire. The ending leaves the story open, and I look forward to the sequel. David is enigmatic and charming. The heroine struggles to understand him and her feelings for him. She is even more bewildered by David's evil twin brother. What will happen? Can't wait to find out!

When I picked up Forever David, I was anticipating similarities with the obvious other paranormal vampire picks, but this just took me to another place and wanting more. Unfortunately, it was a short read, but the author does not leave you disappointed. I fell in the love with all the characters so fast, maybe too in love since it left me yearning for more background and detail into their lives. Regardless, the plot was right up my alley with twists, turns, romance, love, loss, oh and of course, vampires. sigh*

Forever David's is a true work of love and art created by Shannon Bailey. The book may be a short one, but the story is everlasting. An author who has the gift of evoking all your emotions in this mesmerizing tale.

Shannon Bailey takes the reader on a journey through the eyes of Emily. The creative and intensity of her writing will leave you breathless. Evoking all the captivating emotions you have as you experience the first meeting of Emily and David. Was it love at first sight? Or was it the captivating spell of a vampire? You live the journey. Exciting you still deeper into the story of David. You will feel his hunger. You will feel his pain, compassion and yes, you will feel his love.

Shannon Bailey has captured the true essence of the vampire and made it her on within these wonderful pages. From the first page until the very end, you are captivated by the charm. Captivated by the realistic adventure and warmth of an unnatural love. What more could you ask for? Except more of Forever David's

I really enjoyed this book and will purchase the next in the series. As a lover of all things vampire...Twilight, Almost Human, Black Dagger Brotherhood...Bones and Cat..., I am always looking for something new. The only reason I didn't rate this with 5 stars is the relationship seemed rushed. Without doing any spoilers I would say I would have like to see the relationship developed a bit more. I would have like to understand the love that developed, more than just in the minds of those involved. Additionally, I didn't realize before downloading this, that it was such a short story. It only took me about 2.5 hours to read, if that. I am excited to see how this story continues and eagerly wait for volume 2.

Wonderful book! Slightly made me mad for what happens, obviously I am not going to say because you need to read the book to find out, but I am sure that Develyn's Tale will make up for it. David is oh so wonderful and the book just draws you in. If you are a romance and Vampire fan you will be in great anticipation for the romance part but its worth the wait in my opinion. There was a bit more detail about scenery or a specific room which slightly through me off because it was a little more in depth that I would prefer but it sets it up for you and its just that one part. Yes everyone seems to want it to be longer but this way it draws you in and makes you want to know more. Granted I was one who wanted more and can not wait to read the next part, Develyn's Tale even though he made me mad. I am interested to read that side of the story to put pieces together and get more of an understanding. Great book and great anticipation until the release of Develyn's Tale. Read the book! Its Good! You can even go to her site to find out a little more about it also if I you still have doubts. Hope you enjoy it the way I did.

I couldn't put it down. The storyline was powerful and quick moving. It was chilling at times and at other times romantic and mysterious.
Just when you thought you had it figured out the story would take a dramatic twist. I can't wait for the next one.

I liked the story and especially the ending. I read it today and I keep going back and thinking about it and re-reading certain parts. I would have liked it to be a little longer but still a good story.

I just finished this book on my kindle. Love it some much I'm getting the paperback 2.. Can't wait for Develyn's Tale..

I received my copy this morning of Forever David's written by author Shannon Bailey, who will be guesting on my site next month. I was as giddy as a school girl opening the package and found myself totally entranced by the heart wrenching and dramatic tale of David and Emily.

I read Forever David's in one sitting and, when I was finished, I was breathless. Ms. Bailey has written a fabulous story that gives the reader an insight into the thoughts of Emily as she battles with herself over the series of events that occur during one fateful night. Emily is, with her troubled thoughts and her inquistiveness, believable and vastly human.

David, ah, now that is a vampire that touched me. He holds family close and his quote `I am not some unconscionable, soulless creature, Miss Perkins. My humanity is the very reason why I lament what I once was and despise what I have become', plucked at my heart strings. David is the epitome of the perfect vampire hero.

Develyn-unfortunate soul that he is, tortured by his sins and what he has become, what he has lost--

I finished this novel and sat it aside with an expectant sigh....Ms. Bailey, I anxiously await Develyn's tale....

A definite five stars and worth the read!

Just finished this book and was so pleasantly surprised.

Author had a wonderful premise to work with and I could not put it down, As others have said it is only 150 pages but makes you want more..cant wait for Develyns story
