This review is from: Forever Fifties Reader's Digest The World's Most Beautiful Melodies Cd (Audio CD)
I ordered this cd, for one song: Wheel Of Fortune By Sunny Gale. It's much better in sound quality, than the one on the Derby Records Story. It appears to be her original version. Oddly, that is the only original version on this whole disc. Some of the others aren't necessarily bad (Jo Stafford, Patti Page Brenda Lee), but others are horrible (Penguins, Platters, Frankie Laine).
I gave this 3 stars, because it was fairly cheap ($4.00 shipping included). I am happy. Would I recommend it? Solely to fans Of Sunny Gale, whose music is rather scarce in the digital form.
