Why should you buy this album ? Well... Very good about "Forever Glam" is that every song on this cd has been digitally remastered. The sound is excellent and this 75 minutes long (19 songs)! You can also find two new songs on this compilation : "Martini Disease" (with the Italian group Jet Lag and sung in French) and "Copacabana" (an extremely beautiful remake of the 1978 hit of Barry Manilow with English and French lyrics). But that's not all... "As Time Goes By" and "Bye Bye Baby" are for the first time on cd. These songs come from a mini-album Amanda did record in 1985. And then there are also the hits like "Blood And Honey" (1976), "Queen Of China-Town" (1977), "Follow Me" (1978), "Fashion Pack" (1979), "Fabulous Lover Love Me" (1980), "Love Boat" (2001), "I Just Wanna Dance Again" (2001),...
What is strange about this compilation ? Well... A lot of songs released on single are missing (f.e.: "La Bagarre", "Gold", "Enigma", "Lili Marlène", "Diamonds", "Egal", "Solomon Gundie", "The Sphinx" (original 1978-version), "Fever", "Beats Of Love", "I'll Miss You", "Love Your Body", "Fantasy", "Peep", "Métamorphose", "Hotel Palace", "Incredibilmente Donna", "Thank You", "Wild Thing", "No Regrets", "Bewitched", "Aphrodisiac", "Everytime You Touch Me", "Angel Love",...) on this so called compilation of her hits. Instead we get songs like "I'm A Mystery", "Scuola D'Amore", "Loving", "On The Air Tonight", "The Sphinx '98", "Do U Wanna See It". It's strange ! This compact disc should have been a double or a triple one ! We can only hope that soon there will be a "Forever Glam 2" and "Forever Glam 3"... :-)
