Forever In Love---Romance at it's Best, July 20, 2001

"Forever In Love" is a 2 CD BMG/Germany compilation of 44 of Elvis Presley's best (in my opinion) love songs. Rather than placing the songs in sequential order (from the earliest to latest releases), BMG orders the songs in a natural progression of an emotional bonding between two lovers. There are also 2-3 song sections that cover all aspects of the ups and downs in any relationship--uncertainty, loss, rekindling romance, and finally commitment. This compilation is focused not only on the avid Elvis fan but the "soft listening" aspect of the songs would be appealing to listeners from all genres of music tastes. Although there are no previously unreleased songs on this CD, this is a much more complete and better ordered CD than the RCA Love Songs which was marketed here in the US. Sound quality on this CD is outstanding. I recommend that you find a significant someone to listen to this CD with for the first time for I guarantee you will be "Forever In Love" after you listen to the King's interpretation of love!!
