Get 'Power of Great Music" instead. this has rerecordings!,

Three of James' biggest hits, Just Once, One Hundred Ways and I Don't Have the Heart are all RERECORDED!!!! Why do they do that? It's not even listed on the CD, but on the inside only after you've bought the CD, opened it, and can't bring it back! Besides, most of the tracks are the same as on the Best of CD, although there are some previously unreleased tunes on this one. Of course, there are also some gems on the Best of that are missing from this one.

As usual James Ingram had great easy listening for lovers music. All of the music was good but I was disappointed that his "Give Me Forever" was not there and there was a repeat on a number of songs that appeared on his "Power of Great Music" Album. Still a great album.

I love this CD because James Ingram has one of the most melodic and resonant voices I have ever heard. His songs not only touch your heart they most of all keep you in touch with you're soul. I only wish they had included the last two songs listed. I sorely miss his duet with the gifted Anita Baker, and his beautiful song with John Tesh. Where are they and why are they missing???

Good, but not great...,

I just recently purchased this CD and discovered two things that surprised me. "I Don't Have the Heart" and "Just Once" are new versions that don't quite live up to the originals. The album is a very nice compilation if you like James Ingram's work. The best song by far on the album is "The Day I Fall in Love" with Dolly Parton. I hate Dolly Parton, but how can you go wrong when you combine James Ingram and David Foster on a beautiful ballad. Even Dolly sounds O.K. on this song. This is a very nice, soothing album and I would recommend it for anyone who likes nice love songs.

James is truly a vocalist worthy of listening. I enjoyed the first few songs until it got to his lady heart warmer song One hundred Ways which I thought he shouldn't have changed. Like most artist will always try a new version only to take away the masterpiece of it's original creation. Let Quincy Jones have his due for this first version of the song on the Dude album. Leave it alone James it was brilliant the first time just sing it. Also I thought My Funny Valentine was ruin, I have no idea what James had in mind. I believe if he had just did it like the rest of the artist, his voice alone would have made this a masterpiece. I then started to lose the drive in the album after these two blows of such great hits was ruin. sorry James but I'm just keeping it real. Let Q put his signature on it. Other than that the album is wonderful

Soul in it's purest form,

James Ingram simply has the best soul voice I have heard since the 80's, possible contenders are Anita Baker, Will Downing, Luther Vandross, Peabo Bryson, Phil Perry . This albulm continues to suggest so, Forever more has some subtlities that only repeated listening can reveal. His rendition of "one hundred ways" simply has achieved improvisation, his duet with Dolly Parton is bliss. The rest is a testimony of a great soul singer you ever likely to experience. Hope to see him some day.

This is one of my favorite songs and I love this album. When I am cleaning the house. Or if I need to just chill I put this on it's one of those albums you can play and before you know it's finished
