More About the Author

Bestselling Author of The Salty: A Ghetto Soap Opera, Why Me? and Why Her? series.

Aleta Williams writes to entertain and inspire. She grew up in Watts, California, a small city located in South Central Los Angeles. She currently resides in Seal Beach, California with her husband and three children. Writing for her is a hobby, a stepping stone to get to where God is taking her. She believes, her calling is to become an inspirational/motivational speaker for teens and woman who struggled with an abnormal child hood just as her. At six years old Aleta witnessed her mothers' murder. With no one to help her get through the tragedy she used anger as a defense mechanism to help her deal with hurt, pain, and loneliness. Aleta later joined a gang, which lead her into becoming a teen mother. Aleta, does not believe being a teen parent is the norms and doesn't condone it, but she believes her first born was God way of saving her life. It wasn't until she gave birth to her daughter that the fear of leaving her alone in a world she thought was cruel that she began to change her life around. Aleta finished school. She became a banker for 11yrs, until she took her gift to write as an outlet to enjoy life. Aleta has eleven bestsellers and three collaborations.

This book had me feeling a range of emotions. I can't stand Yay Yay at all and I wished someone would just kill her already. Colisa is grimy and should be ashamed of the stunt she pulled. I was rooting for Ken until he messed up big time. I gave this 4 stars because it started out boring but by the time I got closer to the end I was on the edge of my seat. I truly hope Colisa is not. I was proud of Jazz for finally standing up for herself, but then she fell back into a weak character. I hope in part 6 Ken and Jazz can get it together and Jazz can grow a back bone and stop being so emotional.

Aleta Aleta AAAAAALLLLEEEETTTTAAAA....... I thank God for blessing you to write books that keep many people wanting more. I dont even know where to start Yaya still need her behind beat she is just messy messy messy and I swear I want to just pop her in the mouth ( n my granny voice). Jazz and Ken are still my babies and I cant believe that when they are finally to the point where their lives could take a turn for the better its always a detour. Calvin is back and at it like he never left there to cause havoc and mischief everywhere he goes but the question is will he ever get the love from Jazz. I dont want to give to much because i have more to say, all i know for sure is this CAN NOT BE THE FINALE. I want more pleasssssssseeeeee :)

This book just like the others was very jaw dropping and best of all full of drama. There was some parts where I was mad at every character yes even ken and jazz. Temptation, insecurities and back stabbing caused a lot of hurt , pain and death !!! New romance sparks between two characters who are connected but one is unaware and a close call to death for a main character where we will not find out until the next episode.... the ending left me on the edge !!!! Patiently waiting for a mini series or a movie, and I should be apart of casting as far as who should play who!!!!!!!! December 31st can not here any faster!!!!!!

When I say I have never seen so many haters it one book it's crazy! Jazz and Ken I feel so bad for you. Jazz you won't have to step up your game you pregnant you cannot be out here fighting! Jealousy is not going to fly either so straighten up your shid before somebody get your man. I'm not putting it all on Jazz, Ken got some explaining to do to but in all sins of the matter he has been 100 with jazz! And now let's get on these haters and all the violence this involved in the story!

Now let's get to the haters, Yay you are dirty in the name it's self. You and Wack deserve each other! She's messed up to because of her mom, Trina. Very dysfunctional relationships, family dynamics, and the daddies are unknown so that is causing some extreme damage to the children.
Attorney Bolton – Kenslow you are in a world of your own and you are going to get yours. You think you are the bad azz in the story you are working with the devil himself!
Calvin, Wack, Ken , and Pastor G are all vicious and you'll see what happens when the triggers are all challenged! Bombs are going off everywhere and who's going to stop them?
I hope Mrs. Brown stays in jazz and Kens life, and grandma LewiseI just want to scream! I believe Stacy is the guardian angel but not for sure yet?
On to the next and yes I am Saltyyyy!!!!

10 stars

I waited for this book and I must say it does not disappoint. The fifth installment picks up where it left off with Jazz and Ken starting their new life together. Of course finding eternal happiness for the couple is forever threatened by the following salty characters. Peter, Yay, and Calvin. Will Ken's and Jazz 's love survive the saltiness ? Read and find out for yourself and enjoy the roller coaster of drama, suspense and multiple betrayals. My only critique is when is Jazz gonna get super salty herself and destroy the lives of those who continue to pour salt on her ???? Can't wait for part six
