I'm not sure why this trilogy received so many high ratings. I really hope my review helps someone in the future. First of all, the writing in this trilogy seems like it came from a high schooler. She basically uses the same two adverbs throughout the entire book. I felt like the vocabulary was severely lacking.
I'm usually very forgiving when it comes to these type of issues on a book and try to keep in mind how much I paid for it. These books should be closer to $0.99 for the quality of writing. I continued reading on through the trilogy hoping the subsequent books would improve from the first. I rarely do not complete a book. I found myself correcting and changing words around to make it sound better while reading Forever Black. It did improve somewhat in Forever You and Forever Us but most of the situations remained a bit juvenile to me.
I also had issues with continuity and reality. For one thing, Pacific time is 3 hours behind Eastern time, not the other way around. AND, you would not have the same nurse for your chemo sessions as well as your labor & delivery. Nor would your BF's boyfriend (an ER doc) take you in for an emergency C-section after arriving with you to the hospital.
This is the first review I've actually written. After reading the first two books I had decided I wouldn't read the third but then I forgot why I was so annoyed with the first two books and went ahead and bought the third.

3.0 out of 5 stars felt like a play by play December 2, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Sometimes I feel as though this writer's style is more of a play by play or listing of the character's actions rather than a flowing story. I got bored with this book, I was looking forward to reading it and was unfortunately disappointed. The epilogue was the best written and most interesting part of the book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Uuuuuugh January 8, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Horribly written, not nearly as good as the first book (second book doesn't count as it's just a repelling of the first, but through Connor's eyes). I'm thinking it wasn't even edited, and if it was, whoever did it should be fired. Grammatical errors, punctuation was awful, and the storyline was 'meh'.

2.0 out of 5 stars Unnecessary November 29, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I found the book very unnecessary. It just went on and on & the parts that were suppose to be a peak were anti climatic. Snooze fest at best

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I'm a sucker for a good love story, and this one was one of my favorites. I fell in love with Ellery and Conner, and the way they changed each other for the better. I like how some parts were funny too, like actually made me laugh out loud.
Overall good book, definitely recommend it :)

One of the best love stories I've read! The third book was definitely worth the wait! Well done Sandi Lynn. I am hopeful that you will write Peyton and Henry's story as well.
