About the Author

Samuel Sagan M.D. is the author of 15 books, including a manual entitled A Language to Map Consciousness that describes a detailed terminology for experiences and spaces of consciousness. His nonfiction books cover topics including regression therapy, entities or energetic parasites, planetary forces and awakening the third eye. He has also authored a number of fictional novels and stories, notably the spiritual tetralogy - Atlantean Secrets.

Born in Paris, France, Sagan started practicing meditation during his teens. This led to studying medicine at Paris Faculty of Medicine and Sanskrit at Censier Sorbonne Nouvelle University. He holds a Doctorate of Medicine on the topic of chakras and subtle bodies and degrees in acupuncture and homeopathy. In 1983 he stopped all activities to practice full-time meditation for 5 years.

Feeling the need to establish a center where genuine seekers could receive real training in meditation he founded the Clairvision School in Sydney, Australia. Determined to provide people with tangible and immediate results, he developed techniques to systematize experiences of consciousness - techniques that really work!

Sagan's stunning story telling continues with little Szar waking up further after his encounter with the Dragon. He returns to Esraim a veerry different man and his awakening takes him closer and closer to his initiation as a Master of Thunder. His love for Elyani is a story of how love for another person can be such a powerful tool of awakening for those willing to see it in that way.

I rarely read a fiction book, and usually skim through a lot of it when I do. However, I found myself reading every word of this book, just as I did the first book in this series, Sleeper Awaken, and enjoying every minute of it. Samuel Sagan presents a world filled with wonder and brings his characters to life in a way that made me believe they were real, no matter how fantastic their forms. And I found myself caring about them very much, sharing their joys and woes throughout the book. I was deeply touched by the tender love between Szar and Eliyani and highly recommend this book be read by those who have stopped believing in it - love, I mean.

It's a wonderful idea that the Atlanteans might have cared so deeply about us in the future that they struggled with all of their might to preserve their knowledge for us before Atlantis disappeared beneath the sea forever.

I have ordered the rest of the books in the series, as well as Bleeding Sun, which I understand is connected with the series, and look forward to finding out the rest of the story. As some of the reviewers of the first book in this series said, reading Sagan's stories is a spiritual experience, and for me like none I've ever had from reading a book.

This series has me mesmerized. I usually do a little reading before I go to sleep at night. Since I started these books I've found that I have been staying up way too late because I can't put the book down. The story has drawn me in and I don't want it to let go.
