5.0 out of 5 stars Feinstein's Best Book
His other books might be more popular, but none hold a candle to this incredible book. 3.0 out of 5 stars Not his best
The problem with this book is the premise. This was not an incredibly unique or immortal team - more likely one that the author felt connected to because he was a Duke student in the '70s. Feinstein has a way of writing a book and making you care about the subject & for that, more power to him. But his attempts to immortalize this team come off as hokey and contrived.

This book tells the story of the program's transformation which laid the groundwork for Duke's real rise to power in the 1980s. Feinstein focuses on several players and coaches, and his accounts of the actual games are very compelling. A must read for any college hoops fan!
