Nicely compiled and sequenced collection. Egon has done it again, created a unique and sublime collection within a genre long favored by the black-belt crate diggers. The sub-title really says it all, 'Heavy Psychedelic Ballads & Dirges', that's right on point. This reminds me a little of Dr. Delay's Psych Mix, in its rare prog otherworldliness, although that collection was more of a DJ set, these are full legnth tunes. Stay shaggy !

Update: this collection grows hair, it will be prized for eons. It's nice to dust this one off from time to time. Of special note: The Baby Grandmothers closing track, Somebody's Calling My Name, is a bad trip of the first order, a total effin freakout. As the liners note: nothing can follow that.
