According to Gangi, a Holistic Health practitioner, the path to wellness lies in changes in diet and our ways of thinking. She points out that most medical professionals earnestly want to help patients, but are restrained by threats of lawsuits and are locked into their own idealistic interpretations of what are currently known as traditional practices, clouded by cultural biases. As patients, we force ourselves into vicious cycles of self-destruction when we medicate our insecurities rather than attempting to discover the circumstances causing our pain. Gangi believes that humans react to every situation either from love or from fear. Choosing to react from fear can actually cause that which we fear most to materialize
Utlizing Native American medicine and lore combined with Christian spirituality, Gangi provides us with some simple steps for improving our own physical health. She speaks with a motherly compassion for humanity as she accompanies us on our journey through our Earthly existence. Part instruction and part inspiration, Forget the Cures serves as a crucial reminder to mankind to slow down and stop letting the chaos of modern life prevent our bodies from completing the self-mending they were designed to do. -- Front Street Reviews

Sound Advice, Must Read, Best Seller!,
By Ruth M. (Buffalo, New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Forget The Cures, Find The Cause: Book One (Paperback)
I am overwhelmed by this book. Expecting a quick read because of the volume size, I found myself stopping to digest and meditate on the wonderful information Gangi has provided. The book is written on three levels, first providing a general overview of holistic health, the western medicine problem, and some of the alternative therapies we can choose. Then the book takes on a whole new personality, delving into the physical aspects of imbalance, the body, and then branching to the mental and spiritual aspects of disease. It is succinct, much like Hemmingway, but poignant and engaging, much like Twain. It can bring you to tears, and sometimes even make you laugh. The most important thing is, it educates, and Gangi is firm in the belief that we CAN take charge of our own health. She begins our education and gives us the tools. I am purchasing several as Christmas and Hannukah presents, even though no one has actually asked for this type of gift. I feel Gangi has given her heart and soul, divinely inspired, and done so with only the highest good in mind. Based on that, I will give this book as a gift from my heart, so that others may begin to control their bodies, minds, and spirits and get on the right path to health. Can't wait for Book 2, but I'll reread Book 1 over and over again.

Underrated best seller,
By
This review is from: Forget The Cures, Find The Cause: Book One (Paperback)
Forget the cures, find the cause is one of the most profound books on holistic health and alternative medicine on the market today. Gangi takes us on a realistic and spiritual tour of our bodies, minds, and spirits, much like she does in her online podcast at podomatic. Written with authority, compassion, and heart, I would recommend this book to doctors, nurses, teachers and the everyday person.

Amazing Common Sense With Easy to Understand Information We Need,
By
This review is from: Forget The Cures, Find The Cause: Book One (Paperback)
Rayna writes this book and connects with our mind body, spirit which can motivate our body to do what is necessary to be on track. Get healthy - get real. She explains what many refer to as new age to be the mostly common sense and basic health care. Without the influence of the media and commercial bombardment we see daily. A perception of an age old wisdom handed down and shared through love and grace. I am thankful to her for this information that comes across -- As simple as childs play relating to stretching for body movement we need as adults. Reminding us of Life as a gift and embracing the every day life we experience. Making the most of it. . . even the chapters of the books explaining complex anatomy is written to be understood and applied to our daily earth walk and connection to our purpose.
Being connected to our being Mind, Body, Spirit. Thank You Rayna and all that of those who made this wonderful book available to a public much in need of a new perspective on health.
