Sound Advice, Must Read, Best Seller!,
By Ruth M. (Buffalo, New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Forget The Cures, Find The Cause: Book One (Paperback)
I am overwhelmed by this book. Expecting a quick read because of the volume size, I found myself stopping to digest and meditate on the wonderful information Gangi has provided. The book is written on three levels, first providing a general overview of holistic health, the western medicine problem, and some of the alternative therapies we can choose. Then the book takes on a whole new personality, delving into the physical aspects of imbalance, the body, and then branching to the mental and spiritual aspects of disease. It is succinct, much like Hemmingway, but poignant and engaging, much like Twain. It can bring you to tears, and sometimes even make you laugh. The most important thing is, it educates, and Gangi is firm in the belief that we CAN take charge of our own health. She begins our education and gives us the tools. I am purchasing several as Christmas and Hannukah presents, even though no one has actually asked for this type of gift. I feel Gangi has given her heart and soul, divinely inspired, and done so with only the highest good in mind. Based on that, I will give this book as a gift from my heart, so that others may begin to control their bodies, minds, and spirits and get on the right path to health. Can't wait for Book 2, but I'll reread Book 1 over and over again.

Underrated best seller,
By
This review is from: Forget The Cures, Find The Cause: Book One (Paperback)
Forget the cures, find the cause is one of the most profound books on holistic health and alternative medicine on the market today. Gangi takes us on a realistic and spiritual tour of our bodies, minds, and spirits, much like she does in her online podcast at podomatic. Written with authority, compassion, and heart, I would recommend this book to doctors, nurses, teachers and the everyday person.

Amazing Common Sense With Easy to Understand Information We Need,
By
This review is from: Forget The Cures, Find The Cause: Book One (Paperback)
Rayna writes this book and connects with our mind body, spirit which can motivate our body to do what is necessary to be on track. Get healthy - get real. She explains what many refer to as new age to be the mostly common sense and basic health care. Without the influence of the media and commercial bombardment we see daily. A perception of an age old wisdom handed down and shared through love and grace. I am thankful to her for this information that comes across -- As simple as childs play relating to stretching for body movement we need as adults. Reminding us of Life as a gift and embracing the every day life we experience. Making the most of it. . . even the chapters of the books explaining complex anatomy is written to be understood and applied to our daily earth walk and connection to our purpose.
Being connected to our being Mind, Body, Spirit. Thank You Rayna and all that of those who made this wonderful book available to a public much in need of a new perspective on health.

Mayra Calvani--TCM Reviews,
By Mayra Calvani "Multi-genre author and reviewer." (Brussels, Belgium) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Forget The Cures, Find The Cause: Book One (Paperback)
Forget the Cures, Find the Cause takes a glimpse into the conflict of modern-day medicine vs. holistic medicine, and how `mystical' remedies are sometimes misunderstood and abused.
Author Rayna M. Gangi describes the way in which our minds, emotions, and thoughts control our bodies, and how disease can be the effect of negative experiences which manifest themselves in our health. The book offers the reader a brief--and very general--overview of some of the `magical' cures that are misunderstood these days, like reflexology, hypnosis, iridology, and massage therapy. Gangi also enumerates the seven basic keys to finding the cause of illness and staying well. Diagrams and case studies are included to facilitate understanding. For those readers new to holistic medicine and healing therapy, this book will be helpful, as it offers the reader the basic information. Though Gangi overdoes at times the terms `God' and `Heaven,' it is an interesting read, and the author's style straight-forward and engaging.

Inspirational Genius!,

This review is from: Forget The Cures, Find The Cause: Book One (Paperback)
Wow! This is one of the finest pieces of writing I have ever read. Rayna takes the reader on a spiritual journey through alternative modalities and therapies while educating us on the history of western medicine and on our responsibilities to self. Troudeau's promises of "miracle cures" may sell copies, but this book is a keeper and a must have for anyone who has children, is a parent, teacher, educator, medical professional or alternative therapist.

Rayna Gangi shows us what to feed our mind, body and spirit, and about our connection to the earth. We alone have the ability to get healthy or stay sick. Our thoughts and words are creating our reality, be it health or disease.
The seven keys to health are so simple, but yet so very powerful. This book is easy to understand even for a lay person. Rayna Gangi is a very loving and caring person. Thank you Rayna for this very inspiring book.

A must read for everyone!,
By Angel Curtin (Fairhope, Alabama USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Forget The Cures, Find The Cause: Book One (Paperback)
These days it seems that people know more about how their cars work than their own bodies. Gangi not only guides us through a "how to" manual for caring for our bodies but she takes us through discovering our true spiritual being as well.
I can't think of anyone I know that wouldn't benefit from the wisdom this remarkable book has to offer. The food chart alone is an eye opener into what will help our bodies as well as what is so potentially dangerous. This is one of those rare finds that has you saying out loud as you read, "Well that makes sense!" I also recommend listening to Gangi's podcasts as well for they are an inspiring way to start your day. Forget The Cures, Find The Cause:Book One is an amazing guide for us all on our "earth-walk" and I'm looking forward to Book Two to be just as beautifully written and insightful.

This review is from: Forget The Cures, Find The Cause: Book One (Paperback)
I reviewed this book and Rayna was correct - they are deleting them. Don't let the message be silenced! Our country is waging many wars now - on terrorism, on nuclear proliferation, on inflation, on unemployment, but why do we wage wars on ourselves? Why wage war on cancer and diabetes and heart disease? Rayna shows us the methods by which we can purify and strengthen our bodies and ensure long term health - without all the medical bills!
Learn how to treat your body with love and respect and it will respond - buy this book! Also check out the podcast on itunes. |
