I watched the entire first season as it aired on television and found it to be a terrific blend of cooking competition shows (e.g. Top Chef) and travel competition shows (e.g. The Amazing Race).

The show starts with a dozen chefs, all hoping to win the top prize. Each episode has the chefs engaging in an early race of sorts that takes them throughout a new exotic city. Most of these challenges involved getting acquainted with the local cuisine. The winning group in this challenge earned an advantage (usually a key ingredient) to use in the second challenge of the episode, which involved cooking the local cuisine.

I loved living vicariously through the competitors as they travel to fantatic international locales such as London, Tuscany, and Asia. If we just had taste-a-vision, it would have been delicious as well as delightful.

A fun ride!

If you have seen and liked the Bravo series, Top Chef, then you will enjoy this similar cooking (and traveling) series.

This is pure reality tv, not a travel or cooking show. It basically consists of made-up drama between the characters. It so happens they are in Thailand but the real point is the melodrama. I got really annoyed and bored halfway through and turned it off. Total waste of money.

Not as enjoyable as the other Top Chef seasons. The chefs in this one were unwatchably obnoxious and immature. I stopped watching after the second episode as it was a waste off time.

enjoyed the travel aspect of the show - the contestents had to find their way around each episode in a different country and learn the local cuisine. Will there be a second season? I hope so.

Interesting concept for a show. Amazing Race meets Top Chef. I wished there were more episodes. Curtis and Kat were good hosts. Both great chefs themselves unlike other cooking show hosts.
