Book Description

A thrilling short-story, "Forgetting Isa" is the tale of one young sister and the memories that escape her, and how those memories might - just might - spell doom for her and her family.

***

The ocean calls out to Isa. It has ever since her accident a year ago. When she started forgetting things. Many things.Without her brother and sister, Isa would be lost.

But the ocean doesn’t forget. And it doesn’t forgive. It comes for Isa, bringing its might to bear against her and her family. A family already strained and pushed towards the breaking point.

A thrilling short story, “Forgetting Isa” shows just how far a family will go to stay together. No matter what the cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars New twist on zombies October 20, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This was a different take on zombies with a great twist. It's the perfect blend of eerie and creepy without crossing the line. Plus there's a great personal element between family members that comes into play later in the story. Great characters, thrilling story.

I really enjoy the surprises Marion puts in all his stories. I'll definitely come back for more!

More About the Author

Robert D. Marion was born in Virginia and has slowly made his way north over thirty years. A computer programmer by profession, he has embraced writing thriller novels and short stories. Father of one, he lives with his wife in the northern Washington DC area.

Inspired by tense action films and television shows - with a highlight on Fox's "24" - Robert brings an action-packed, fast-paced voice to his work. Common themes echoed through his works include the bonds that families share, and just how far those bonds can be pushed. Though he dabbles with short stories, his real focus remains writing novels, and hopes to launch his first books by the end of 2012.
