5.0 out of 5 stars A real review, July 30, 2004
By Jon (Bloomington, IN) - See all my reviews
First off, the last two girls that reviewed this cd are obviously locals that know the band. Im not bashing that, support your locals, and plus Zack is a cool guy. But, I am going to write an actual review of this album for what it is.

This album is frantic mixture of classic hardcore (i.e. early snapcase), 70's solo riffage, and straight up rock and roll. Unlike many bands coming out now a days these guys are not a "time period" band such as the strokes or jet. They take a more unique aproach and take styles from different genres and make it there own, much like the bronx has done. Unlike the bronx A.F.C.C. digs more into the frantic screams of hardcore and guitar solos, and only throw in hints of rock 'n roll...instead of using it as a base for their music.

The music here is extremely face paced, fun, loud and honestly unique. These guys are a breathe of fresh air from the typical emo/core that we get from most of their peers.

Recomended for fans of thrice, snapcase, atreyu, stretch arm strong, what feeds the fire...and heck, even shadows fall.

My final words are...keep an eye out for these guys, because they are going to take the hardcore scene by storm.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Talented Dallas band, June 16, 2004
This is an amazing CD! A Faith Called Chaos has such a unique sound that's a mix of rock and heavy metal. In my opinion the best songs are "Forgive Nothing" and "We woke up a fire." Which like the other songs on the CD are the not too long, which is nice because they don't drag on. On another note, I would definitely have to agree with Linzy on that Adam is super hot!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome blend of music!, June 3, 2004
By Linzy (Dallas) - See all my reviews
In their first full-length CD, "A Faith Called Chaos" rocks. They're so awesome, plus, Adam is super hot! I hope these guys continue to produce such an excellent caliber of music for a long time. Get their CD now, or two, because these guys are going to be big.
