Hick Sister Ray?, January 28, 2006
This review is from: Forgive Thee (Audio CD)
Brutal, punishing, shambling, hypnotic and soulful...Stones, Dolls, Velvets played very loudly by drunks with a chip on their collective shoulder. Oh, and with no bass. Brilliant.

Quality noise, June 19, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Forgive Thee (Audio CD)
Less abrasive than their previous albums, Forgive Thee probably also has some of the Cheater Slicks best written songs, and is one of the few double albums with two full discs of good material. Although the band still manages to sound angry and bitter, the sound is not as drenched in distortion as on Don't Like You, and the vocals end up having more impact. There's everything from an old garage rock covers to drawn out punk instrumentals. There's also a guest appearance from Don Howland, of Bassholes fame. Well worth your hard earned record buying dollar.
