While there is great wisdom here, it feels like a self published book that did not receive the benefit of an editor.

The author devotes several chapters to outlining the details of the crime to be forgiven, eulogizing the departed, etc. Leaving enormous gaps in following central premise of the book: how and why to apply forgiveness.

It is important for an author to realize that the book is for a reader who wants to apply the teaching to their own life. It is important to stay on topic and keep it moving.

I felt that the style was somewhat self-indulgent in rambling on about the details of the author's resentments. I was bored and had to skip ahead to find relevant material that I could apply.

Cj and SHelly have created an awesome book here! I recommend this to anyone of any age. What I like about this book is that it is straightforward. IT is to the point and clear to understand. YOu can clearly see that Cj and SHelly have a heart to teach people and for them to get free. I like that this is a very open book with many examples. this is what makes it so real and because with such a topic as forgiveness some people can tend to skirt around what that can look like. Well shelly and cj tell u how it worked out in their life and what it lead to-freedom! they dont pretend its easy..but following God isnt always "Easy" but it is REWARDING giving you ABUNDANT life. IF you want to see a practical way of forgiveness please read this book. I also encourage you to read any other of their material. I have also read "Mirror Mirror" book and that book also greatly blessed me. THis book is straightforward and sound, please pick it up , you won't regret it!

If you are having a problem forgiving others and yourself for past mistakes and hurts, you need this book. It is packed with useful advice and bible verses to help you forgive. At the end of each chapter are questions to help you on your way to forgiveness. It is a book I will be refering back to again and again. You will not regret buying this book. Please note: I recieved a free copy of this book for my honest review. But I am also going to order additional copies for friends and family.

I absolutely loved the book. From the beginning chapter I felt as if CJ and Shelley Hitz were old friends and very down to earth. Their Forgiveness Formula is very insightful and heartfelt. Once I started reading the book, it was hard to put down. I recommend this book to everyone who is searching for lasting freedom in Christ.

Perfect material for those who are dealing with hurts from so long ago.

It is also a great reminder that God wants us to forgive as he forgives us. We need to remember that whatever happens has a purpose even though it may be difficult to see at the time.

This was probably the most heartfelt book I have ever read. Through the unfolding of this book C.J. and Shelley Hitz take you on a journey with them to discover how Jesus is the greatest mathematician of all time, and only His math can add up to a full life. While reading this book they shared their humor with me to the point of laughter and their sorrow to the point of tears. They are amazingly open and honest; two real people sharing real life and pointing to the only true source of hope. I highly recommend reading this book.
