5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Teaching on Forgiveness, September 29, 2006
By
This review is from: Forgiving the Unforgivable (Paperback)
This is the best book I've read on the topic of forgiveness. The author has a gift of teaching the reader that it is possible to forgive even the worst of offenses. The chapter on Forgiving Yourself helped me a lot too.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a beautiful book., October 24, 2007

This review is from: Forgiving the Unforgivable (Paperback)
I purchased this book after going through a difficult time with my loved ones, family, friends, but mostly myself. How could I possibly forgive others, when it was myself who I needed to forgive first? Chapter by chapter this book uses analogies and spiritual guidelines needed for one to grow within one's self. It was easy reading, yet never boring. I found this book to be one of the most useful tools I have and will keep in my possesion, for discovering and living the spiritual path of forgiving.

5.0 out of 5 stars Are some things Unforgivable?, December 17, 2007
This review is from: Forgiving the Unforgivable (Paperback)
"I do not forgive you!" is the thought that burst into my mind as I was forced to consider those who had hurt me in the past. This book challenged me to realize my anger, experience the sadness of what was lost and take a step toward forgiveness for the first time. I plan to give this book to everyone I have ever wronged in hopes they will learn enough to be able to forgive me and hopefully we can all learn to forgive ourselves-this concept was completely foreign to me, truly amazing! Thank you Dr. Stoop you may have helped save my life!

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible, September 4, 2009

I have never read a book that touched me the way that this one did. I finally understand what TRUE forgiveness is and who it really benefits, me not the offender. I think the book started slow and then picked up speed but I am willing to believe that I started understanding slow and then picked up speed in understanding. What a gentle book so easy to understand. I am buying copies for friends and families and will suggest it to my Pastor as a book club selection. I will read this book again and again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very well written book, October 29, 2008
This review is from: Forgiving the Unforgivable (Paperback)
This a book about God's love and sacrifice. It is highly recommended to anyone who is struggling with the issue of forgiveness. As sinners seeking forgiveness from God we must realize that we have to be able to forgive others if we expect to be forgiven by Him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Forgiving the Unforgivable - Unbelievable!, April 1, 2009
This review is from: Forgiving the Unforgivable (Paperback)
This is the best book I have read in a long time. Having been hurt by the church, I did not know if this book would help but I was desperate. This makes each of the steps you incur very plain and provides scripture to back them. I will be giving this book to many people in my lifetime as they experience hurts, it is the BEST of many, many resources I purchased on the topic.

This book clearly explained forgiveness; what it means to forgive (which is not synonymous with forget). Easy to read, biblically based, excellent resource.

The book was packed well. It was in good condition when I received it. The infromation I have learned has been very beneficial to me and supports the arguments about forgiveness that I have been sharing with other people. I recommend this to anybody for your own good in understanding what is involved in reconciling broken relationships.

5.0 out of 5 stars Forgiving the Unforgivable, July 7, 2010
This review is from: Forgiving the Unforgivable (Paperback)
The author wrote an incredible book that allows the reader to go beyond the surface of a hurtful situation, tie it in to scripture of God's word and His good will, and that from whatever the self discovery may be - God intends a future for us filled with hope for peace.
The paperback I purchased was used and in good shape till I was on the last few chapters, and the pages came off of the bound.
