To create this book, Peter and Susan Fenton have culled the funniest, weirdest, and most outrageous excerpts from their newsletter, The Secrets Exchange. The results are truly all over the map--from the country-music star who keeps a gerbil in his Stetson while onstage, to the temp who worked for the wrong company for an entire day, to the teenage (girl) who misread the symptoms of orgasm as some sort of seizure and ended up, embarrassed, in the local emergency room.
This book is inventive and entertaining--much more so if you can suspend your disbelief. Are all the stories true? Probably not. Are the spelling, grammar, and writing in general too good to be the authentic anguished cry of the secret-burdened masses? Probably. But I Forgot to Wear Underwear on a Glass-Bottom Boat is easily more believable than letters to Penthouse, and nobody's complaining about that. Bought this on a whim and it worked out. These are some of the weirdest people you'll ever read about, like a M.D. who saves his patients' kleenex and a guy who built an ant farm in his storm window.

I like this funny book. It's unusual, but has the type of humor that lots of different people might enjoy--from younger people to seniors.
