Sam Barsh - Plans Change (reprise),
This review is from: I Forgot What You Taught Me (MP3 Download)
An instrumental with vibes, harmonica, piano, drums in a relaxed groove with a clean sound and imaginative soloing reminiscent of a jazz and blues hybrid. If the instruments are midi, they are exceptional samples. Maybe there are liner notes, and hope these are available as a way to inform the buyer more about what influences the composer and where he/she wants to take the music. The album, or compact disc is mostly instrumental from what I heard. The rhythm is upbeat with room for interplay of the instruments that holds interest by combining sounds in unison and spreading the voices, achieving the sound of an arrangement in the interest of good musicianship.
