From Library Journal
When psychic Joey Bradshaw tries to save her sister's life by pretending to be the wife of journalist (and supposed amnesia victim) Ashe Coye, he knows she's lying but doesn't know why. Intrigued, he plays along-and ends up in love and almost killed by the serial killer they are both seeking. Fast-paced action, engaging characters, and a high degree of sexual tension keep the reader involved despite the relatively obvious solution to the primary mystery. Readers who enjoy reading romantic suspense by Shayne (Kiss of the Shadow Man, Silhouette, 1994) might also enjoy Tracey Tillis's Deadly Masquerade (Dell, 1994) and recent books by Nora Roberts. [Shayne lives in South Otselic, New York.]
